JOSEPH C. KRACHT
Mr. Kracht received both his B.A. and M.A. degrees from
the Monterey Institute of International Studies and went on to attend
Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where he earned his J.D. degree in 2003.
During law school, Mr. Kracht was a published member of the law review
and interned for both the San Diego County Public Defender’s Office and
the San Diego Mayor’s Office. After graduating from Thomas Jefferson, he
joined Lawton Law Firm as an associate, where his practice focuses on
complex civil litigation,
writs and appeals. Mr. Kracht has represented clients in first-
and second-chair capacities in both State and federal trial courts,
before the California Court of Appeal, the San Diego City Council, and in
arbitrations and mediations. The subject matters of the litigation he
has handled have included State and federal civil rights claims, patent
litigation, partnership disputes, securities fraud, and wage and hour
disputes, among others.
Prior to joining Lawton Law Firm, Mr. Kracht served as
an Intelligence Specialist in the United States Navy.
