Directions to Our Office

Lawton Law Firm is located on the west side of downtown San Diego in Emerald Plaza at 402 West Broadway, on the north side of Broadway between Columbia Street (on the west) and State Street (on the east). We are easy to reach by car, trolley, train, and/or air transportation.

By Car:
The closest freeway access to our office is from Interstate 5.

From the north:

Take Front Street/Civic Center exit
Follow Front Street 4 blocks south to Ash Street; turn right (west) on Ash Street
Go 3 blocks on Ash Street; turn left (south) on Columbia Street
Go down 2.5 blocks; entrance to parking garage of Emerald Plaza is on the east (left) side of Columbia Street, just south of its intersection with West C Street and just north of the main lobby of the Westin Hotel. Street parking is metered.

From the south:

Take the 6th Avenue exit; turn left (south) on 6th Avenue
Go 3 blocks to Ash Street; turn right (west) on Ash Street
Go 9 blocks on Ash Street; turn left (south) on Columbia Street
Go down 2.5 blocks; entrance to parking garage of Emerald Plaza is on Columbia Street, just south of its intersection with West C Street and just north of the main lobby of the Westin Hotel. Street parking is metered.

BY TROLLEY:
Take either the Blue or Orange trolley line to the America Plaza station. From that station, walk east across India Street and then Columbia Street, then turn right (south), and cross the trolley tracks and West C Street. Emerald Plaza is on the southwest corner of West C and Columbia Streets. You can enter the building from the north side (on West C Street, between Columbia and State Streets), the west side (on Columbia Street, between West C Street and Broadway), the south side (on Broadway, between Columbia and State Streets), or the east side (on State Street, between West C Street and Broadway). Use the elevator bank on the north side of the building (adjacent to West C Street) to reach our suite (1860).

BY TRAIN:
Take Amtrak or the Coaster to the Santa Fe Depot. From that depot, walk east across Kettner Boulevard and through the America Plaza trolley station. Continue east across India Street and then Columbia Street, then turn right (south), and cross the trolley tracks and West C Street. Emerald Plaza is on the southwest corner of West C and Columbia Streets. You can enter the building from the north side (on West C Street, between Columbia and State Streets), the west side (on Columbia Street, between West C Street and Broadway), the south side (on Broadway, between Columbia and State Streets), or the east side (on State Street, between West C Street and Broadway). BY AIR:
Take a taxi from Lindbergh Field (San Diego International Airport), which is located on Harbor Drive and which is a 5-minute cab ride from Emerald Plaza. Tell the driver to take you to Emerald Plaza at 402 West Broadway in downtown San Diego. Once you arrive, walk through the lobby and go to the elevator bank on the north side of the building, adjacent to West C Street. Take the elevator to our suite (1860).
